Olympic gold medallist cyclist Dani King returned to her old school to inspire children to follow their cycling and sporting dreams, thanks to support from Hampshire County Council. The London 2012 champion’s visit to Hamble Primary School was arranged by the County Council to encourage the pupils to take up cycling, be more active and offer cycle safety tips in bikeability sessions.
The Year 1 children took part in 3 workshops, and the day ended with everyone coming together for one amazing choir. The aim of the event was for pupils to experience the physiological and psychological benefits of singing, to educate them in the health benefits of singing and to inspire and encourage life-long participation in music and the arts.
